What is ABC?

Animal Birth Control (ABC) is a comprehensive program involving:

  • Capture and sterilization of street animals
  • Anti-rabies vaccination (AR component)
  • Post-operative care and monitoring
  • Release back to original territory

This approach stabilizes populations naturally while preventing rabies transmission—far more effective and humane than culling.
